高２ ＰＳ（PeaceStudies）：沖縄学習

高校２年生は沖縄修学旅行に向け、沖縄戦について学びました！
「オキナワを知る」ことが「ヒロシマ」を伝える第一歩。
高校２年生は、沖縄修学旅行に向け、ＰＳで沖縄戦について学びました。
ただ机上の学習をするのではなく、ジグソー学習という手法を取り入れ、グループで学習を進めています。
グループ４～５名が、沖縄戦についての担当箇所の内容を調べ、グループでシェアをします。
担当箇所を責任もってグループの仲間に伝えるために、それぞれが真剣に学習を進めています。
「オキナワについて自分の知識のなさを痛感した」という感想が多く見られました。
「知る」ことで初めて、相手への「理解」が生まれます。
そして、相手への「理解」が、両者の歩み寄りにつながります。
「ヒロシマ」も「オキナワ」も一筋縄ではいかないさまざまな課題を抱えながら、未来へそれぞれの想いをつないでいかなくてはなりません。
今ここで学んだことをどう活かしていくのか。

11th Grade students learned about the Battle of Okinawa prior to their field trip in Okinawa.
“To know Okinawa” is the first step to tell “Hiroshima”.
11th Grade students learned about the Battle of Okinawa prior to their field trip in Okinawa. Not just studying at their desk, we’ve been studying in groups using a jigsaw study method.

Each member of a group which consists of 4 to 5 students studies their part on the Battle of Okinawa and share within the group. Students were really concentrated as they are responsible to tell their part to the other members in the group.

There were many feedbacks from students that they realized they knew nothing about Okinawa at all.
First, ‘To know’, and then that leads ‘to understand’ others.
With various complicated problems, Hiroshima and Okinawa has to move on to the future carrying their thoughts and opinions.
