Jogakuin Students meet Ambassadors
On Januray 23, five Jogakuin students had a chance to meet with seven ambassadors to the United Nations from various Caribbean countires (Saint Kitts, Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Lucia, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda and Jamaica). Two Jogakuin students gave speeches introducing their school and talking about their Petition to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. After the speeches, the students had a wonderful chance to meet and talk with the ambassadors. The Jogakuin students gave each of the dignitaries a copy their petition to be brought back to their countries. Our students hope this campaign can be started all around the world.
