カンボジアについて知る
高校１年生では、今年度よりPSLHRとして「カンボジア学習」を取り入れました。
これまでの平和・人権学習をもとに、世界に目を向け、他国の歴史や文化を知ることを通じて、多くを学ぶことが目的です。
今日はその第１回目として、「カンボジアを知る」をテーマに、各クラスでプリント学習をしました。
アンコールワット、カンボジアを題材にした映画、経済発展の様子などを学びました。
「カンボジアについてもっと知りたい」という前向きな感想が多くみられました。
また、PSは、単に知識を詰め込むのではなく、「自分の意見を発信する力」を養うことも目標としています。
そこで、ジクソー学習という手法を取り入れ、生徒間の学び合いや意見交換を中心に、学習を進めました。
広く世界に目を向けると同時に、主体的に考え、動くことのできる力を身につけるため、このような学習を今後も積み重ねていきます！
10th Grade Peace Studies: Cambodia Study Part1
To Know Cambodia
From 2014, for Peace Studies Long Home Room (PS LHR), we selected Cambodia Study for 10th Grade. Based on what they’ve learnt through Peace and Human Rights studies, students to learn further by noticing the other world and learning history and culture of different countries.
Today, students read through handouts about “To know Cambodia” in each class. They studied such as films of Angkor Wat and Cambodia, and the development of Cambodian economy. We had many positive feedbacks that they would like to learn more about Cambodia.
The purpose of PS is not just filling students with lots of information but to “build students’ ability to express their own opinions”. Therefore, using a jigsaw method, students have been learning mainly by sharing their works and exchange opinions. We will continue to work on this style of learning to broaden their view towards the world and to build up their ability to think and act on their own initiative.
