放送礼拝より ~オサラバン先生(英語科)

Please take out your bible. Today’s bible reading will be from the New Testament Romans chapter 5 verse 3 to 4. Page 279 in your NT.

I recently was given some books by a friend. One of the books Man’s Search for Meaning in Japanese it is called  yoru to kiri.

It is old but a very popular book, it has sold millions of copies. The main theme of this book is that even in the worst possible moments, life has meaning. This book talks about the author’s life in WW2 Germany and the terrible pain he went through. But he survived and was able to start a new life with the thought that life always has meaning.

How can you relate to that? When school or life is not treating you kindly or fairly, try to just remember your life and all your experiences have meaning. Sometimes it is difficult for us to realize it but it does have meaning.

A short prayer. Dear Lord, we thank you for this day helps us to remember that all good and bad things in our life have meaning. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen.
